Christmas morning back home is always an adventure. By the time you get all of the siblings together, add in their spouses, then add in all of the children - we've got a full house! Not to mention my parents, grandparents and our wonderful Uncle Thom!! Every year is a lot of fun and we start the day with the kids' Christmas. Then we move on to ours. A few years ago we started playing Dirty Santa instead of drawing names and we all really enjoy it. This year it was a lot of fun because the stealing going on in that room was crazy. And the scheming that the couples were putting together in order to get what they wanted would've made Sydney Bristow from Alias proud! (lol) A great day. And although we loved the fellowship, we couldn't deny that there was a presence missed greatly as this year was the first Christmas without Grampa. But, he was there in spirit and we know that he was looking down on us and all of the "good groceries" that we had during lunch. We miss you Grampa, and can't wait to see you again! But we know the birthday celebration he got to partake in while in heaven was NOTHING compared to the Sheldon party here on earth.
