On May 5th, we headed out to FREE family night at the Houston Zoo. This campus is probably the most beautiful zoo campus that I've ever seen. There are so many mature trees in the middle of the campus and the shade is wonderful. We loved seeing the lions, tigers, bears, birds, snakes, lizards, monkeys, etc. The boys even got to feed the giraffes on this day!! We are loving the Houston area and how warm it is down here. We haven't yet experienced the horrible humidity that everyone talks about but I know it's coming. Until then, we are just gonna continue to enjoy beautiful days like this! We ended the afternoon getting stuck in Houston traffic for over an hour only to realize that we were headed to wrong way! So we stopped off and waited out the traffic at a Mexican restaurant and enjoyed the rest of our Cinco de Mayo!! There are TONS of pictures, I know. So enjoy!
