I have only one picture for week ten highlights. This is the week where my illness was in full effect. I ended up in the ER twice, dodged hospital admission five times, had about 5 doctor's appointments and finally my procedure. I stayed on 4 antibiotics for two weeks, was also taking Phenergan and Zofran for nausea, got 4 liters of IV fluid, was taking pain medicine and steroids. FUN TIMES! Not to mention that I also lost 8 pounds during this time also. The biopsy results are still pending but I think we are over the hump. The thought is still that I either got sick from a patient at work or I had a bad case of food poisoning that caused the colitis. I'm just glad I can eat again. :) Kudos to Nathan for being such a champ with the kids, with school and with me. He stayed on top of all the house chores, breakfast, lunches and dinners for the boys while I was so sick. We're on the up and up now though.
