Certified I9 Coach!

Yep - Nathan is a working man again!!  Well, a little bit!  See, Nathan had so much fun watching the boys at camp and I could tell that during the practices it was hard for him not to jump in there to help.  So I mentioned to him to see if the coaches needed any help with any of the other camps coming up.  Well, they had already recognized what a great guy he is, that he had a willingness to help and was great with kids.  So they let him work the next week's camp.  And the boys were even able to take part again at a discount.  So they headed into the next week...and then that led to the next week...and to the next!  So, needless to say that God opened the door for not only our boys to be able to play ball, but for Nathan to get in there and help!  It's been such a blessing to watch him work with kids again, while being active in sports -- but not too active.  This is a great setup for him because it allows him to work a few hours each day, get some exercise and be involved in one of the things that was taken away from him when he developed this heart disease - sports.  So, while he isn't allowed to play sports anymore, God has blessed him with the ability to coach them.  And this is the happiest that I've seen Nate in a long time.  And on this first day of Nathan as a coach, my heart smiled and broke a little at the same time too.  I'm so proud of my four boys and I'm so thankful that God continues to bless our family - even in the smallest ways, and even in the form of a baseball.
