Galveston Island: Beach!

The next morning we headed back out to the family beach area and had a great rest of the day.  It was overcast and sunny at times, but it was a very beautiful day.  And since we aren't too far from the beach itself, we most likely will be going back on a warmer day!

Sometimes I wish my boys wouldn't bring me EVERYTHING they find!

And this is why you don't let a 10 year old do his own sunscreen. "I promise I got my whole face!" "I promise I didn't do just one line on each side!"  Lesson learned.

Galveston Island: Happy Birthday Eli

After a fun day at the pier, we celebrated Eli's birthday with presents and cake.  The hotel wasn't the...how do I say this, "nicest" we've ever stayed in, but it was warm and safe!  So we were okay with the renovations going on!  Lol.  And the boys didn't notice one bit!  :)
