Starting at a new facility in this business is always a little intimidating. But I am so in love with this hospital here! The facility itself is beautiful along with the campus it is on. The people I've met so far have been fantastic! Now ---- the first two days was spent in downtown Houston so I wasn't a fan of that! The traffic to get there and back is BEYOND belief and I don't know how people do it every day!! Thankful for the fact that I'm working outside of the city, so the last two days of work were better. This week was also hard too because it was dayshift. Yeah, after 13 years of nightshift, days makes me feel like I've been hit by a train! However, with 17 alarms set to get me up and remind me to get up, and remind me to leave along with a couple of early morning Coca-Colas with my breakfast and an eager spirit - I made it through. Back to nights this week! I'm ready to rock it!
