We have been telling Eli ever since we knew we were coming to Texas that we were going to go to the beach to celebrate his and my birthdays! So naturally, this past weekend was beach weekend! I'll take the trip in sections but first, a huge THANK YOU to one of my friends I've met while down here. She was able to work it out through a family member to get us wristbands to visit the pier down here! That was huge because those bands are pretty expensive! So, needless to say, we were super thankful for this gift and had a great time. That morning it was overcast and raining, but it cleared up about lunch time. This worked in our favor because it kept the crowds away!! We ate lunch at the historic Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant on the pier and spent the rest of the day wearing out the rides at the park! The boys had a BLAST!
Alright, armbands are on - let's get to the pier!
