The night before Halloween our apartment complex had a party for the kids. They had food, games, cookie decorating, a bouncy house and a (crazy good) face painter. This was a good dress rehearsal for the boys because of Tyler. They decided to go with the Avengers theme this year and Tyler was going to be the hulk. We bought green face pain and black hair color spray for him but he had a HOLY MELTDOWN when I tried to put the paint on him. Needless to say that the hulk with tear streaks in his makeup didn't work out too much! He finally let me put some green eye-shadow all over his face to kinda make him look green. Here is the first set of pictures...
Once we got down to the party, the lady that was painting faces decided to do our boys. I told her that Tyler most likely wouldn't do it given the crisis we just had not an hour earlier. However, once Zachary and Eli sat through it, wouldn't you know that that little turkey sat there like a big boy and let this lady dress his face all up. I couldn't believe it! Anyway, they turned out crazy. Scary, crazy, weird and neat all at the same time! So then Nathan and I got in on it. When Nathan sat down he thought he was going to be a monster too, but the boys told the lady in secret to make him a clown. That turned out hilarious when Nate saw his face for the first time. These are the finished products.
Crazy, I know! Anyway, the boys had a great time! And Zachary and Eli even won award for best costumes...gotta give props to Eli's wig for that one! Here are the rest of the pictures for the evening.
