We spent some time this past week exploring the area around our apartment. We found several walking trails but one in particular we loved. It is near a wildlife reserve, within walking distance of our home and they have trails and a huge pond. We saw several very large turtles -- almost too big for my comfort -- and we got to watch a beaver collect sticks for his home. It is a very peaceful area to take the kids and just kill some time.
