One family field trip this week was to the National Mall area. We walked more on this day than I think we have our entire lives, but the kids were troopers. The sights included The Washington Monument, The Reflecting Pool, The WWII Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Korean War Memorial and the new Martin Luther King Jr Memorial. And then we just happened to stumble and find ourselves right out front of the White House. Pretty cool day!
