The National Zoo

One great thing about this area is that there are so many things to do and a ton of them are FREE!  Well, we took advantage of that on July 3rd and headed out to the Smithsonian National Zoo!  The day was really hot, the zoo was huge but the boys hung in there and had a great time!  They loved the lions, the panda bears, the wolves and of course, all the turtles and snakes that the zoo had to offer.   The boys were in their usual forms that day.  Zachary started talking as soon as we parked and didn't stop talking until...well, he still hasn't stopped!  :)  Eli was pure boy and tried to catch every animal he saw.  Tyler was Tyler and flashed his dimples and southern charm on every stranger we passed.  Nathan and I laughed at all three of them because people just keep watching them and smiling.  It's good to know as a parent that somehow your child made some one else's day seem a little bit brighter.
